THE REPUBLIC OF BIAFRA RESTORES IT'S SOVEREIGNTY

The Republic of Biafra now the United States of Biafra is a recognised state in West Africa that declared independence from Nigeria in 1967 before the Nigeria genocidal invasion. Its territory consisted of the former Eastern Region of Nigeria. The Biafran population has existed for over 5000 years before the forceful amalgamation into the union of Nigeria in 1914 by Britain. On 30 May 1967 Biafra declared it's separation and independence from the union of Nigeria which it never consented to from the very beginning of amalgamation, by Igbo military officer and Eastern Region governor Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu under his presidency, following a series of ethnic tensions and military coups after the continuation of colonialism tagged as Nigerian independence in 1960. This culminated in the 1966 anti-Igbo pogrom. Biafra is officially recognised by Gabon, Haiti, Côte d'Ivoire, Tanzania, and Zambia while receiving de facto recognition and covert military support from France, Portugal, Israel, South Africa and Rhodesia.
Following the conclusion of the self-referendum exercise held from 1 February to 28 November 2024 through electronic and physical voting, the restoration of Biafra was declared on 29 November 2024 by Biafrans who gathered in Lahti, Finland for the declaration of restoration of independence.
